Start at the car park above Klingenzell and let the path lead you around the Schönebärg to the hamlet of Immelhausen. Cross the fields to Moorwilen, Ammenhausen and Meienberg, where you will reach the majestic Liebenfels Castle. Follow the edge of the forest on a picturesque path to the Eggmühle farm and then climb up to the Highwacht viewpoint at 592 metres. A short, scenic walk back to the car park concludes your journey.
