Hike through enchanting, moss-covered fir trees and along steep limestone cliffs on a trail that is second to none. The Saut-du-Doubs, which at 27 metres is the highest waterfall in the Jura, is an impressive spectacle, especially in spring or after the seasonal water flow has been checked. Even in the heat of summer, the Doubs gorge remains refreshingly cool. The Lac des Brenets, a 4 km long and 200 m wide lake, is surrounded by limestone walls up to 80 m high and offers a breathtaking 20-minute boat trip from the waterfall restaurant to Les Brenets from the end of May to the end of September.
