Embark on a journey to the Mont Raimeux lookout tower, a historic observation post from the First World War and the highest point in the canton of Jura. This round trip is worthwhile in both summer and winter. From the picturesque Gore-Virat gorge, the route climbs up to the Raimeux plateau with its vast Jura meadows and iconic fir trees. On the way, keep an eye out for falcons, ravens, vipers, lizards and butterflies. Two inviting mountain inns await you on the plateau, perfect for a break.
