Discover the globally unique Höllgrotten caves in Lorzentobel near Baar. These stalactite caves offer a magical atmosphere with their fairytale-like stone formations. The tour takes you through various caves such as the Root Grotto, Mane Grotto and Fairytale Grotto as well as the enchanted castle in the upper cave. The tour then continues to the lower grotto, where you can admire the Sea Grotto, the Cathedral Grotto, the Fable Grotto and the Coral Gorge. The temperature in the caves is constantly around 10°C, so warm clothing and a mackintosh are recommended. Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a lead. Due to the narrow passages, the caves are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. After your visit, you can explore the surrounding area, which offers many barbecue and swimming spots, or stop off at the nearby restaurant.
